We had a VERY successful weekend at the CFA International Cat Show this weekend! Click HERE to read all about the fun we had and what went down. It was a very exciting weekend for all of us. The Siberian breed was well represented and drew quite some attention!

When we started this cattery, our goal was (and still is) to breed for healthy, typey siberians with great personalities. In order to do that we have been looking for diversity in our lines and tried to find cats that will bring a lot to the table for our breeding program. We decided that 10 siberians is the maximum amount we'll ever have but we shrunk that down to 8. With Pushka and Niko in their new homes, we made room for one more girl. With 6 girls and 2 boys we have everything we want and we are starting to develop our own lines from here on out. Our last family member arrived 11/19/2008 and comes from ForestWind Siberians in Buffalo. Her name is Ilyana, but we'll probably end up calling her Yana. She is a mackerel torbie and at 4 months already a beautiful girl. With this girl added to our family we consider our household pretty much full. Stay tuned for updates about this wonderful young lady!

The CFA International Cat Show is coming to town!!!
On November 21-22 and 23, 2008, the CFA International Cat Show will be held in Atlanta. This is the mac daddy of all CFA shows. You will find national and international breeders wit their cats, and every cat breed accepted by CFA will be there. If you love cats, and are interested in learning about many different breeds and their origin, or if you just like looking at cats, love to shop for cat stuff and talk to many people, THIS is the place to be! The show is the biggest in the country with 900 entries from all over the world. All breeds will be benched together so it will be very easy to find the Siberian crew! We will be there with Noëlle (in the Championship class), and Indi, Darius and Gandalf (in the Kitten class), and our friends Sue Case from Prekrasne, Pat Cotter from Shadowheart and Maria Pavlovsky from Cica will all be there as well. If you come visit the show, please make sure you stop by us and say hi!

Our Fifa (we call her Pushka) has been spayed last week and is now available for her new home. She would like to be placed in a home with another cat if it is a neutered male. Pushka absolutely does not get along with female cats. She is extremely active, playful and smart. If you have Pushka in your home, be prepared to see her racing through your house, and to find her in all kinds of places you'd never expect her to be.
Pushka needs lots of toys and cat trees to climb in. She often gets the "sillies" in her head and races top speed all through the house. She for sure will manage to make you laugh all the time!

We recently welcomed our new boy Prekrasne Gandalf Greyhame into our family. Gandalf came from the same cattery as Darius and Delilah. Gandalf is still very small but that doesn't stop him from being a torpedo. He runs around all day like his life depends on it, and he only stops when we bring out the food. Check out our blog for some adorable movies of this young boy or go visit his page for more information. We plan on bringing Gandalf to the show halls as soon as he hits 4 months. He currently is most definitely in his awkward stage but knowing what lines he come from, we know he will grow up to be a beautiful boy. Gandalf is a very warm brown tabby with a personality that matches his name, he sure is a wizard in winning our hearts!

Welcome home Darius and Delilah!!
July 11, 2008 we welcomed home our 2 new family members, Prekrasne Darius and Prekrasne Delilah. Darius is everything and more we are looking for in a siberian. He has great type, a fabulous coat and a wonderful, outgoing and endearing personality. Darius will be making his entry in the show halls in August 2008, and we expect him to knock the judges socks off! Delilah is smaller but of the same great type as her brother. She likes to play a lot, and like her brother, will pose for toys and food. She has a very sweet and playful personality, which is a great asset to have in the show halls.

On the Smokey Mountain TICA show in Pidgeon Force, Tennesee our Dakota made it to 4 finals in the kitten category. She had 3 times 3rd best kitten and 1 time 5th best kitten.
